       Drugs have and are destroying the youth of Punjab. To make the students aware regarding the ill-effects of drugs, rallies were organized by our school.

Voter Day

Every citizen of India who attains the age of eighteen years has the right to vote and elect his representative.  Voter day was observed in the school on 25th January 2013 . Punjabi Master, S. Gurdip Singh, explained the significance of the Voter Day to the school children.

Traffic Management is an important issue to be discussed with the students. In charge of Traffic education S. Prabhdyal singh and his Head constable S. Indermohan  singh  were given information to students  about the traffic rules and to maintain safety on roads.

A rally was held against the use of Chinese flying string.




                        





SWINE FLU 

With looming swine flu epidemic , children were made aware about various preventive measures to be taken about decease. And special emphasis was given on how to keep an eye for the symptoms of swine flu, which can result in early detection. This in turns help save life.

                   CORRUPTION WEEK

This week is being celebrated in school as anti corruption week. Various workshops and seminars are being held to educate children about how corruption is affecting us daily and hampering our growth as nation.











































     DRINKING WATER AND SANITATION

Teachers viewed the live telecast in Edulab which contains information regarding drinking water and sanitation.
The main objective of the Department of Water Supply & Sanitation is to improve health of people by providing potable and adequate drinking water to the residents and improving environmental hygiene by providing proper sanitation. To achieve this objective, the department undertakes planning, execution, operation and maintenance of works relating to water supply an
d sanitation in rural areas. The department also undertakes works like internal sanitation work, air-conditioning, fire-fighting, hot and cold water supply, gas supply, laundry plants, central sterilization and kitchen equipment etc. In all government buildings including hospitals, which are engineering works connected with the health of people over the years, the officers and officials of the department have developed an expertise and specialization in these works.
